Opel Grandland X Coming Soon

German brand Opel, newly under French ownership, has revealed its upcoming new Grandland X mid-sized SUV. Entering above the compact Mokka X and Meriva-replacing Crossland X, the third X model in Opel’s new-generation SUV will make its first public appearance at this years Frankfurt motor show. In Ireland, the Grandland X five-seater will rival offerings like the, Volkswagen Tiguan, Ford Kuga and other mid-sized SUVs. Opel has designed a vehicle that blends elegance and ruggedness, the Grandland X will offer a raised seating position, good all-round visibility and plenty of luggage space. The boot measures 514-litres, which compares similarly with competitors and inside it is said to be quite spacious with room for 5 passengers, although no 7-seater version is mentioned yet. The newcomer is only slated to go on sale in Europe in 2018.
