Rev.ie is the brain-child of Ian Beatty and Niki Meredith, both well known in Irish Motoring and Motorsport circles. The site merged with publishing house JKLM Media run by Justin Delaney in 2011 adding further strength to the business.
Ian is the Circuit Operations Manager at Mondello Park, Ireland’s only International Racing Circuit. He has held this position since 2001 and looks after many aspects of the daily business including race events, track days and the Motor Racing School. Ian is also a Motoring Journalist for The Irish Times with a weekly Motoring page in the newspaper every Wednesday, he has also penned articles for New Car magazine and Bike Buyers Guide.
A keen racing driver, Ian has raced in various formulas over the years and still competes occasionally in the Irish Touring Car Championship and Rallycross events. As the anchor motoring journalist for rev.ie Ian tests new cars weekly in Ireland and abroad for new car launches. In just a three-year period Rev.ie has seen phenomenal growth fast becoming Ireland’s best resource for new car reviews, industry news and videos.
Ian Beatty comments: “Cars are my passion and if I am not racing them, I’m writing about them. This site gives me the opportunity to offer the end user an informed review to help with their next purchase or indeed to offer an everyday drivers opinion on what its like to be at the wheel of the supercar of your dreams. With the assistance of JKLM Media we can take the site on to another level and offer visitors an even greater level of enthrallment”

Print and online specialists JKLM Media are more known for their print magazines that include Bike Buyers Guide, Farm & Plant, Modified Motors, Player Ireland and Irelands Dirt Bike Annual but they have a strong online presence, which compliments each of these brands. JKLM Media Managing Director Justin Delaney is no stranger to automotive journalism and has spent much of his career writing about vehicles, be it two wheels or four.
