It is no secret that electric vehicles faced some mixed publicity this year in the Irish press due to issues like possible high battery costs ‘should something go wrong’, poor resale values and a charging infrastructure that seems to be lagging behind some of European neighbours. The reality is, a lot of it came down to misinformation and events like the free to attend NEVO Electric Vehicle Show which, took place February last in Dublins RDS, done an incredible job of educating the some 12,672 people in attendance.

Having attended the event back in February we particularly enjoyed the series of panel discussions with key industry leaders on the Bank of Ireland stage. Topics covered will include charging options, solar integration along with information regarding the used electric vehicle market.
