Further to our recent news and teaser shots of Fiat’s new Viaggio http://www.rev.ie/fiat-viaggio-at-beijing-auto-show/ Fiat has unveiled its all-new saloon at the Beijing International Motor Show. The Viaggio is manufactured in China and is the first vehicle to be produced jointly by Fiat and Chrysler, it’s also the first car to be built in Fiat’s new plant in China. The Viaggio is 4,679mm long which will make it one of the roomiest cars in the C-segment. Powering it will be a 1.4-litre T-Jet which will be available with 120hp and 150hp, both will be available with either a five-speed manual or Fiat’s new dual-clutch transmission (DDCT).

The Viaggio shares the Dodge Dart’s platform and basic interior architecture which promises high levels of refinement. Whilst the Viaggio will go on sale in China later this year, there are currently no plans to introduce the car into Europe.
