Leaseplan, Ireland’s leading provider of fleet management services and Volkswagen Ireland presented a cheque for €2,300 to the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind. Patrick Costigan and his guide dog Quandro were present to accept the cheque which was the proceeds of a star-studded night held recently in Dublin’s Aviva Stadium. The event showcased the range of Volkswagen Passenger and Commercial Vehicles and also featured an interview with form Manchester United and Ireland Captain Roy Keane. The funds raised will go towards the cost of training the guide dogs, with each dog costing approximately €38,000 during the course of its working life.
