Ford’s all-new five-seat Tourneo Connect and seven-seat Grand Tourneo Connect people movers are now available to order for delivery late this year. Both models offer versatile seating, plenty of storage capacity and dual sliding side doors for easy access. Irish prices will be confirmed closer to the car’s arrival in Ireland.
The Tourneo Connect and the Grand Tourneo Connect form part of Ford’s new generation of versatile Tourneo people movers which range from the compact five-seat Tourneo Courier – available in mid-2014 – to the eight/nine-seat Tourneo Custom. This new Tourneo line-up sits alongside the “MAX” range of multi-activity vehicles in Ford’s passenger car portfolio.
Powering the new Tourneo Connect and Grand Tourneo Connect are a range of engines that includes Ford’s new 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol engine, a 1.6-litre Duratorq TDCi diesel engine with a choice of 75, 95 and 115 hp power outputs, there’s also a 1.6-litre EcoBoost petrol variant with 150hp and a six-speed automatic transmission. The new Tourneo Connect models are being produced in Ford’s state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Valencia, Spain.
