One of Korea’s largest car manufacturers, SsangYong Motors has entered the Irish car market with their new Korando. The Korando crossover will be followed shortly with the arrival of two further models, the Rodius and Rexton W. Dealers have been appointed in Dublin, Wicklow, Kildare, Waterford and Limerick with more to follow including dealers in the west of Ireland.

The Korando is available across three variants, with the entry-level S (Standard) model priced from €25,995. There is also the Korando E, priced from €28,800 (Executive) and the Korando L (Luxury) at €29,750. All models come with a five year unlimited mileage warranty and roadside assistance. The Korando is powered by a two-litre turbo diesel engine which produces 149hp and 360Nm of torque. Just some of the standard equipment includes, heated seats, air conditioning, Bluetooth, cruise control and USB connectivity.
