Audi has debuted its all-new A3 Cabriolet at this week’s Frankfurt Motor Show, ahead of its arrival to Ireland early next year. Its automatic fabric roof opens and closes hydraulically in less than 18 seconds. From launch there will be there engines on offer, a 1.4-litre TFSI petrol unit with 140hp, a 1.8-litre TFSI petrol engine that produces 180hp and a 2.0-litre TDI diesel with 150hp. Following on from these variants will be the first ever Audi S3 quattro Cabriolet. The S3 model produces an impressive 300hp and transfers this power to all four wheels, via Audi’s quattro all-wheel-drive technology.
