Honda has announced pricing for their new Honda CR-V 1.6-litre i-DTEC diesel two-wheel-drive SUV. It will arrive in Ireland on the 21st October with prices commencing from €31,995. This fuel efficient diesel engine has low CO2 emissions, with just 119g/km which results in an annual road tax fee of €200. It’s equipped with Honda’s ‘Earth Dreams Technology’ and can achieve up to 4.5l/100km (62.8mpg) of a combined fuel consumption. Commenting on the announcement Frank Kennedy, Sales Director of Universal Honda Ltd. said, ‘The New CR-V 1.6 i-DTEC takes us into the core of the Irish family car market. We have a full-size SUV offering class-leading interior space, class-leading fuel economy and low emission tax rates so important to Irish buyers. With prices starting from €31,995 we expect the CR-V 1.6 i-DTEC to not only appeal to existing owners but also many conquest buyers when it arrives in Honda Dealerships on October 21st.’
