SEAT Ireland has confirmed its all-new 4WD Leon X-PERIENCE will arrive in Ireland in early 2015. Prices will commence from €32,495 for the four-wheel drive estate. The Leon X-PERIENCE has a robust look with protective mouldings on the door sills and wheel arches. In addition to 4WD and extra ground clearance, the Leon X-PERIENCE also offers all-road suspension, intelligent EDS dynamic control and an extended electronic differential lock (XDS) for better traction when cornering.
Commenting on the new Leon X-PERIENCE Neil Dalton, Head of Marketing and Product at SEAT Ireland said, “We are really excited to bring the all new 4WD SEAT Leon X-PERIENCE to the Irish market, a market we feel it is ideally suited to. The launch of the SEAT Leon X-PERIENCE continues our principal at SEAT of bringing technologically advanced models to the market at affordable prices. Already in 2014, we have launched the SEAT Leon ST, the SEAT Leon Cupra and the Alhambra SE all of which have been very successful. We expect a similar degree of success with the Leon X-PERIENCE.”
Customers can choose from two models initially, a 2.0-litre TDI diesel engine with 150hp and a 2.0-litre TDI with 184hp and a DSG automatic transmission. All models come as standard with 17” X-PERIENCE alloy wheels, rear park distance control, cruise control, 5” colour touch screen with USB / SD / Bluetooth phone and audio streaming. Sport seats with unique X-PERIENCE upholstery, leather steering wheel, gear knob and handbrake are available along with 2-zone Climatronic air conditioning. The 184bhp DSG model is also armed with SEAT Drive Profile, which provides the option of upgraded steering and throttle response. There will be another variant added later in 2015, with the arrival of a 1.6-litre TDI two-wheel drive model.
