The third-generation of BMW’s successful X1 will go on sale across Ireland this October. Over 730,000 units of the second-generation X1 have been sold worldwide. This new one boasts a new interior with improved space and variable load area. Powering the new X1 is a range of four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines. The standard level of equipment is extensive with navigation and driving experience now included. From launch customers can choose from one petrol and three diesel units. The X1 sDrive 18d and xDrive 20d both feature turbochargers with variable turbine geometry, both units have an increase of 7hp on their predecessors with 150hp and 190hp respectively.
