Audi Ireland has announced pricing for the all-new Audi R8. The second-generation supercar R8 will be priced from €231,500 for the V10 model and €263,000 for the V10+ variant. This new R8 is powered by a 5.2-litre FSI engine that produces a very impressive 610hp in the V10+ model, this translates to a 0 to 100km/h acceleration time of 3.2 seconds before going on to a top speed of 330km/h. Both models are 50 kilograms lighter than their predecessor, this weight saving has been achieved with the Audi Space Frame chassis. The quattro drive system of the R8 has been fully re-developed. The intelligent all-wheel drive software continually distributes torque to where it’s needed resulting in breath taking performance. The extremely dynamic chassis and adjustable electronic stability control (ESC) can be exploited with Audi Drive Select through a choice of four modes (comfort, auto, dynamic & individual). The interior has Audi’s digital virtual cockpit display with MMI navigation+ with touch pad as standard, also included are 19” alloys, LED headlights and rear dynamic turn signals.
