Peugeot’s all-new 108 will arrive in Ireland this Autumn. It boasts new exterior styling, along with a cabrio model that has an electric fabric roof. The new 108 is 40mm longer than its predecessor and is available in both three and five-door body styles. The boot space has been increased with 196 litres on offer. Powering the new 108 are four three-cylinder engines, a 1.0-litre e-VTi 68hp five-speed manual, a 1.0-litre VTi 68hp five-speed manual, a 1.0-litre VTi 68hp with a five-speed electronic transmission and a new 1.2-litre PureTech VTi with 82hp. All models come equipped with six airbags as standard, along with ABS, electronic brake force distribution, emergency collision braking system and ESP. Also standard are LED daytime running lights, hill assist and an indirect tyre under-inflation detection system. Full trim specifications and prices will be announced closer to the car’s arrival.
