The A5 Coupé launches in Ireland with five engine variants: three TFSI units and two TDI. Pricing for the A5 Coupé petrol engine starts at €47,510 OTR for the 2.0 TFSI 190 bhp SE. Diesel engine models start at €50,100 for the A5 2.0 TDI 190 bhp SE. Range-topping 2.0 TFSI 252 bhp and 3.0 TDI 218 bhp options are also available. The design of the new Audi A5 Coupé is expected to be a major draw for customers. It has an elegant, sporty, modern look, accentuated by the eye-catching elongated engine bonnet and single-frame grille. Behind the wheel, the Audi A5 Coupé is much more nimble and direct thanks to the newly developed steering combined with a stiffer body that weighs up to 85 kilograms less than its predecessor. Its newly designed suspension offers greater comfort for long distance driving and a sportier driving experience. Compared to the predecessor model, the A5 Coupé’s list of standard equipment is very extensive – and impressive:
Audi’s virtual cockpit will also be available as an option on both trim lines. The fully digital instrument cluster, with various display options, puts everything directly in front of the driver via a large high-resolution monitor with richly detailed graphics. An exclusive launch edition pack will be available for the new Audi A5 Coupé. Priced at €1,850, this pack contains a panoramic sunroof, privacy glass and a wheel upgrade (18” on SE and 19” on S line models). Henning Dohrn, Managing Director of Audi Ireland, said the all-new A5 Coupé “is a great example of ‘Vorsprung Durch Technik’, our commitment to innovation”.
“The A5 Coupé is a stunning example of Audi’s expertise in design, engineering and cutting-edge technology. We are confident that the new model will resonate with Irish customers looking for an exciting driving experience in the premium coupé segment.”
The all-new Audi A5 Coupé is available to order in dealerships from mid-November, with first deliveries expected in early 2017.
