Ireland’s second Supercharger site has just opened at Applegreen Birdhill on the M7. Applegreen Birdhill is one of Ireland’s busiest motorway services conveniently located at Junction 27 on the M7. Birdhill Motorway Services offers recreational areas and high quality food for drivers and families on the move. The Birdhill Supercharger has eight bays and opens up Tesla travel from Dublin to Limerick and beyond to the South West, connecting drivers to the Tesla Destination Chargers in the area. Tesla owners can stop for lunch, dinner or a quick coffee while their battery recharges, gaining half a charge in as little as 20 minutes.

Tesla owners travel unprecedented electric miles thanks to Model S and Model X’s industry leading range on a single charge. For long distance travel, the Supercharger network allows Tesla owners to conveniently charge on major routes all over Europe, whilst drivers take a break, grab lunch or a coffee. Using Superchargers alone, Tesla owners can travel as far as the arctic circle in Norway and southern Spain or Italy.

At either side of the Supercharging experience is home charging and destination charging. One of the most convenient aspects of owning a Tesla, is waking up to a fully charged car every morning. With destination charging, Tesla also partners with hotels, restaurants, shopping centres and resorts to make charging when you arrive at your destination as simple as charging at home. Pull up and plug into a Tesla wall connector to charge Model S while you shop, dine or even during an overnight stay.
