BMW’s R 1200 RT has been announced as the ‘Overall RiDER Power Winner’ in RiDE magazine’s annual RiDER Power Survey. This is the third time BMW’s RT has taken the top award and it has also been joined by other BMW models this year. The K1300 S was awarded ‘Best Sport Tourer’ whilst the award for ‘Best Trailie’ went to the R 1200 GS Adventure with the F 800 S collecting the award for ‘Best Half-Faired Middleweight’. To top off the awards BMW was announced as the winner of the ‘Best Brand’ award for the second consecutive year. BMW’s supersports bike the S1000 RR was declared as one of the most reliable motorcycles as a result of the survey.
