Citroen has officially launched their new DS3 Cabrio to Irish motorists, to join the current DS Line-up. The DS3 Cabrio features an electrically operated soft-top roof that’s available from a choice of three colours, black, infinite blue and DS Monogramme. At the rear it has all-new 3D LED lights and a chrome-finished tailgate handle. The clever design of the canvas roof has only increased the car’s weight by just 25 kilograms over its hardtop sibling, it can be closed in 16 seconds at speeds up to 120 km/h.
The new DS3 Cabrio is available across three trim specifications, DSIGN, DSTYLE and DSPORT. The entry-level DSIGN comes equipped with such items as cruise control, rear parking sensors and sports suspension. DSTYLE benefits from such additions as 16” alloys, interior mood lighting, daytime LEDs and air conditioning. The top of the range DSPORT comes equipped with 17” alloys, digital air conditioning, chrome exhaust and a connecting box.
The DS3 Cabrio can seat five people and has 245 litres of luggage capacity in its boot. Prices commence from €21,195 for the VTI 82hp model. The eHDi diesel variant with 90hp is priced from €25,045. There’s a host of personalisation options available to tailor the car to each individual’s requirements.
