Dacia first arrived in Ireland last year with their Duster which stirred interest with its low price. Now the Renault-owned firm has announced the launch of their second vehicle to Ireland, the Dacia Sandero. This five-door compact supermini is priced from just €9,990. It is available in two trim specifications, Alternative and Signature, with the entry-level model benefiting from ESC, EBA, four airbags, daytime running lights, electric front windows, 60/40 split folding rear seat and a radio with cd, mp3, usb and Bluetooth connectivity as standard. The Signature model benefits from additional items which include, 15” alloys, a 7-function trip computer, cruise control, front fog lights and air conditioning.
The Sandero is available with a choice of two petrol and one diesel engines, which includes the new three-cylinder TCe 90hp petrol engine. There’s also a 1.2-litre petrol unit with 75hp and a 1.5-litre dCi diesel with 90hp.
