Dacia has sold more than three million vehicles in just under ten years, the 3,000,000thDacia was a Sandero Stepway, that was bought by a customer in Spain. Dacia is having a good year, with a 36.2 per cent increase in sales in Europe for the first six months of 2014. Since they launched in Ireland less than two years ago, Dacia has sold almost 4,000 new models. Commenting on the news Patrick Magee, Country Operations Manager, Dacia Ireland (Renault Group) said, “We are very proud of how successful the Dacia brand has become since its launch here 21 months ago. It does what it says on the tin, which is no nonsense motoring and gives the customer what they need, for an affordable price, and this is testament to the nearly 4,000 customers we have on our roads today.
