Ford will unveil its all-new Ford Edge SUV at the forthcoming Frankfurt Motor Show. The Ford Edge will be offered with a choice of a 2.0-litre TDCi diesel engine with 180hp and a 2.0-litre TDCi offering 210hp. Both variants will deliver a combined fuel consumption of 5.8L/100km. It comes equipped with Ford’s all-wheel drive technology as standard, and offers adaptive steering and front split view camera which makes restricted visibility junctions or parking spaces easier to negotiate. All Edge models also are equipped with Ford’s Active Noise Control technology that detects unwanted engine noise in the cabin and cancels it out with opposing sound waves that are fed through the car’s sound system.
