Ford has produced a special edition Mustang Bullitt, marking the famous film’s 50th anniversary. You can feel like Steve Mc Queen in this modern-day muscle car. The Ford Mustang Bullitt is powered by an uprated 5.0-litre V8 petrol engine that produces 460hp and 529Nm of torque. Customers can choose from two colours, highland green or shadow black. Both feature 19-inch Torq thrust-style alloy wheels, immense red Brembo brake callipers along with some subtle chrome accents and a black grille. The interior features a pair of figure-hugging Recaro Sports seats and a 12-inch digital LCD instrument cluster.
The six-speed manual transmission features rev-matching technology for the downshifts, using the engine’s electronic control system to briefly increase engine revs as the driver downshifts. We had a brief drive on track in the new Mustang Bullitt, it’s an impressive piece of kit, the sound alone will put a smile on anyone who is fortunate enough to experience the energy from the V8 powerplant.
