Ford’s All-New Ranger Arrives

Ford’s all-new Ranger Pickup has landed on Irish shores, this new model promises to offer all the toughness of a pickup combined with the latest technology and highest standards of comfort. It’s also the first pickup to receive an impressive five-star rating in the Euro NCAP Safety Ratings. The Ford Ranger is available in a regular and double cab body. It’s been developed in Australia and combines new engines, gearboxes, frame, suspension, steering, brakes, chassis and interior. The Ranger comes equipped with such items as Bluetooth, USB and iPod connectivity, air conditioning and satellite navigation on selected models.

It’s fit for the job intended with a payload capacity of more than 1,340kg on some regular cab variants, and has a ground clearance of up to 229 millimetres. If you need to venture off-road the Ranger is extremely competent with a new front differential and a robust electronically controlled transfer case. The Ford Ranger is available in four series, XL, XLT, LTD and Wildtrak with a choice of engines: 2.2-litre TDCi with 125hp and 150hp outputs and a 3.2-litre TDCi with 200hp. The pricelist is below.
