The French Embassy in Dublin has taken delivery of a Renault Kangoo Z.E. 100 per cent electric vehicle. The embassy purchased their Kangoo Z.E. commercial vehicle from Renault Belgard and will use it daily for a range of activities. Commenting on the delivery Madame Emmanuelle d’Achon, the French Ambassador to Ireland said: “The Embassy of France in Ireland is proud to announce its investment in a new electric commercial vehicle, contributing significantly to the objective of the French Ministry for Foreign Affairs to become a model department in terms of energy efficiency and the fight against greenhouse gas emissions. We are also proud of the fact that this vehicle is made by Renault, a French company at the forefront of green technology innovation which has a strong presence in Ireland.” Renault is the only manufacturer to offer a range of 100 per cent electric vehicles, which are available to test drive at Renault dealerships nationwide.
