Audi has released some images of its new second-generation Audi R8, ahead of its debut at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. The V10 model promises 610hp with a top speed of 330km/h (205mph). There will also be a 540hp variant. Power will be transferred to the road through a seven-speed S tronic transmission and a newly developed quattro drive system. The new R8 is constructed using a combination of aluminium and carbon fibre reinforced plastics (CFRP) in the Audi Space Frame. The new Audi R8 will go on sale later this year with prices to be announced closer to the car’s arrival.
