Bentley has announced that its new and also the world’s fastest four-seat convertible will make its world debut at the Detroit Auto Show on the 14th January. The new Bentley GT Speed Convertible combines luxury with blistering performance, its 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged W12 engine produces a cataclysmic 616hp and 800Nm of torque. This power is fed to all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission resulting in a top speed of 325km/h (202 mph). The permanent all-wheel drive has a bias of 60:40 in favour of the rear. Despite being a convertible the GT Speed can be enjoyed all year round thanks to its four-layer hood which has been tested in conditions ranging from -30 degrees Celsius to +50 degrees Celsius. We’ll bring you more information on this new Bentley from its launch at the Detroit Auto Show later this month.
