Mercedes-Benz recently launched the new B-Class in Ireland (details here: http://www.rev.ie/new-mercedes-benz-b-class/ ) and now they are soon to introduce the new M-Class. This will be the second of three new models due to be launched this year. This new M-Class promises an improved interior which is said to be more spacious and comfortable than its predecessor. It’s equipped with permanent four-wheel drive and will have the new 7-G Tronic seven-speed automatic transmission available.
There will be one petrol and two diesel models available from launch, with the ML250 CDI likely to account for the majority of sales. Its 2.1l four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine produces 204hp and offers a combined fuel consumption figure of 6l/100km. Prices for this model start from €71,060. There will also be a new 3l V6 diesel available with 258hp, priced from €76,140. The new M-Class certainly packs in a host of safety features with drowsiness-detection, tyre-pressure monitoring, adaptive brake lights and electronic brake assist just some of the safety features available.
