The new MINI Countryman is making its debut at the New York Auto Show. It has new rugged exterior styling, along with the addition of new colours including Jungle Green, Midnight Grey and Starlight Blue. All its engines are now EU6 compliant, there are no less than seven variants of the Countryman on offer. These include the MINI Countryman One, One D, Cooper, Cooper D, Cooper S, Cooper SD and John Cooper Works. The entry-level Countryman One produces 89hp, whilst the range-topping John Cooper Works model boasts an impressive 218hp. MINI’s ALL4 all-wheel-drive system is available on the Mini Cooper, Cooper S, Cooper D and Cooper SD Countryman models. All variants are equipped as standard with a six-speed manual transmission, with an optional six-speed automatic transmission available.

The range of standard equipment on all models has been increased over its predecessor, this includes, daytime running lights, tyre pressure control, air conditioning, Bluetooth connectivity and park distance control. This new MINI Countryman will go on sale in late Spring. We will have prices and further details closer to the car’s arrival in Ireland.
