Peugeot has upgraded its best-selling model, the Peugeot 208. This new model boasts more assertive styling, fresh exterior colour choices and a range of personalisation options. Prices for the new Peugeot 208 commence from €14,845 plus delivery charges. All 208’s come with a five year extended warranty for peace of mind motoring.
This new Peugeot 208 is available across four trim lines, Access, Active, Allure and a new GT Line, along with GTi variants. Up front the 208 now has a new front bumper and wider grille, with new rear full LED light clusters. Just some of the standard equipment across the range includes, cruise control, six airbags, Bluetooth connectivity, steering column remote controls and ESP. Customers can choose from two personalisation packs, Menthol White and Lime Green. The new GT Line version on offer adopts many of the styling attributes of the iconic GTi model and features an ‘Equalizer grille’ with red 3D markings, a gloss black grille and front fog lamp finishers, 17-inch Caesium diamante alloy wheels, Perla Nera black door mirror shells, chrome window surrounds and a chrome exhaust finisher. It has GT Line badges on the grille, front wings and tailgate, plus red Peugeot lettering front and rear. Inside, the cabin boasts attractive black and red sports seats with red stitching, repeated on the door panels and gear lever. Gloss black door handles with red line at the front and a leather sports steering wheel with a flat base section, complement the black seat belts with their distinctive red line, the aluminium door sill finishers and pedal trims.
The engine range includes a 1.0-litre PureTech petrol engine with 68hp, a 1.2-litre PureTech with 82hp and a new 1.2-litre turbocharge Puretech with 110hp. The diesel engines include a new 1.6-litre BlueHDi engine that produces 75hp along with one that offers 100hp, both qualify for annual road tax of just €180.
