Peugeot has announced details of the introduction of a new special edition Family 5008. The 7-seater is equipped with a 1.6-litre HDi diesel engine, with a choice of a six-speed manual transmission or an Ecomatique automatic transmission. The 5008 Family model is priced from €31,695 and comes generously equipped with a panoramic roof, roof bars, privacy glass, two DVD screens integrated into the headrests with Bluetooth headphones and a leather steering wheel all included. There’s plenty of storage room, with a load space of 823 litres which extends to 2,506 litres when the second row of seats are folded away. Standard safety equipment includes curtain airbags to protect all three rows of passengers, ESP, ABS, ASR, electronic brake force distribution, driver / passenger airbags, automatic electric parking brake with hill assist function and fasten seat belt warnings on all seats.
