Porsche is set to unveil its new Porsche 911 Carrera 4 and 4S models at the upcoming Paris Motor Show, this September. They both offer increased performance and efficiency over their predecessors, coupled with the latest version of the active all-wheel drive Porsche Traction Management (PTM) system. The Carrera 4 and 4S models are differentiated from their two-wheel drive siblings with wider rear wheel arches, they are extended by an extra 22mm each side. As well as the Coupé models there are also Cabriolet variants of the Carrera 4 and 4S too. All models utilise a seven-speed manual transmission as standard, with a seven-speed PDK twin-clutch automatic transmission available as an optional extra. The Carrera 4 produces 350hp from its 3.4-litre flat-six engine, whilst the Carrera 4S produces a hefty 400hp from its 3.8-litre flat-six engine. All customers who purchase a new Porsche 911 Carrera 4 or 4S will receive a complimentary course at the Porsche Experience Centre, Silverstone, where they will be shown how to explore the potential of their new 911. Prices will commence from €134,495 for the 911 C4 and from €155,819 for the C4S.
