Porshce will unveil its second-generation new Panamera Gran Turismo at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed. The new Panamera has a new S E-Hybrid model which offers 416hp of combined power, with a 95hp electric motor and lithium-ion battery that can be recharged on the move or in four hours via an appropriate domestic socket. Joining this is a new twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 variant, available in both the Panamera S and Panamera 4S. This model replaces the previous 4.8-litre V8 engine yet offers an increased 20hp and an additional 20Nm of torque. The majority of Panamera models feature the seven-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung PDK dual-clutch transmission. The eight-speed Tiptronic S automatic is used in the Panamera Diesel and Panamera S E-Hybrid, which creates optimal conditions for further development of other efficiency functions.
Prices for the new Porsche Panamera in the UK commence from £62,922, Irish prices will be announced shortly.
