ToyotaIreland has launched the new-look Yaris, with pricing commencing from €14,995 for the 1.0-litre VVT-i 3-door variant. This new Yaris benefits from newly designed front and rear bumpers, along with upgraded lamp clusters. Customers can choose from a choice of four engines to power their Yaris, a 1.0 VVT-i and a 1.33 VVT-i petrol engine, along with a 1.4-litre D-4D diesel and a 1.5-litre Hybrid engine. The trim grades include Terra, Aura, Luna, Sol, Hybrid and Hybrid Luxury. Toyota’s Touch 2 multimedia system is available from the Luna grade, complete with a 7” touch screen. The standard level of equipment on the entry-level Terra model is adequate, with stability control, daytime running lights, tyre pressure warning system, remote central locking and USB connectivity all included. Since it was first introduced into Ireland in 1999 Toyota has sold over 60,000 Yaris models across the country. We will bring you our first drive report on the new Toyota Yaris in the coming weeks.
