Opel’s Meriva has been awarded ‘Best Minivan’ in the recently published ADAC (German Automobile Club) breakdown statistics. The Meriva achieved top marks for each year from 2006 to 2011 having “substantially fewer breakdowns than the average”. Opel’s Corsa also achieved top marks, receiving the best ADAC rating in the registration years 2007 to 2009 and 2011. Not to be outdone the Opel Astra had the best evaluation grade and scored best in the individual ranking as the vehicle with the fewest faults according to the results of the “DEKRA Used Car Report 2012”. The ADAC has been publishing its breakdown statistics since 1978, with more than 92 model ranges reviewed for these recent statistics.
