Peugeot’s new 308 SW (estate) has arrived in Peugeot dealerships across the country, with prices commencing from €21,990. It’s available with a choice of petrol and diesel engines, including the new 1.2-litre PureTech petrol engine with 110hp. The new 308 SW is built on Peugeot’s new EMP2 platform and is 140kg lighter than its predecessor. Its wheelbase has been extended by 11cm which increases rear passenger space and comfort. The 660 litre boot volume can increase to 1,660 litres with the rear seats folded.
The new Peugeot 308 SW is available in three trim levels, Access, Active and Allure. The entry-level Access model comes equipped with LED daytime running lights, LED rear lights, colour-coded door mirrors, air conditioning, cruise control, Bluetooth and USB connectivity and ESP. Both Active and Allure variants benefit from roof rails and chrome boot luggage rails. The Active model also includes climate control, 16” alloy wheels, cruise control and speed limiter, hill assist, rear parking sensors, automatic headlights and wipers and a 9.7” colour touch screen.
