Peugeot has launched their new Partner van on to the Irish market. Its features include a new face complete with redesigned headlights and a new Lion badge on the bonnet. Prices for the new Partner van commence from €16,075. It’s available in two versions, Access and Active and also available in two lengths 4.38m and 4.63m. There’s an optional Grip Control pack available which will improve traction for driving on muddy roads and building sites, where a two-wheel drive vehicle would struggle with traction. The system has four driving modes, Sand, Snow, Mud and ESP which can be easily selected at the touch of a dial on the dashboard. There’s also a Work Site Pack available which raises the Partner’s ground clearance by 10mm and equips the van with special 195/70 R15 tyres.
Powering the Peugeot Partner van are two 1.6-litre HDi engines with 75hp and 90hp outputs respectively. Also available is a 1.6-litre eHDi diesel engine that produces 90hp and is fitted with Stop & Start which aids its low emissions of 123g/km of CO2 and improves its fuel consumption, with a combined average of just 4.7l/100km.
