Renault is pleased to announce that Renault 5 E-Tech electric is one of seven finalists shortlisted by the European Car of the Year jury for the prestigious Car of the Year 2025 award. A jury of 60 journalists from 23 countries tested and assessed a total of 42 vehicles before shortlisting the seven finalists. Succeeding last year’s victor – Scenic E-Tech electric – the winner will be announced on 10 January 2025 at the Brussels Motor Show.
For the fourth consecutive year, Renault has a model among the seven finalists:
- 2022: Megane E-Tech electric
- 2023: Austral
- 2024: Scenic E-Tech electric (winner)
- 2025: Renault 5 E-Tech electric
Alpine, which had also competed in the 2019 final with its iconic A110, is once again in the final race of the election with A290, its brand new 100 % electric city sports car, alongside Renault 5 E-Tech electric!
