Sean Doyle continued his domination of the ASK Supercar Championship at Kirkistown Co. Down on Saturday April 25th. The Wicklow racer took two wins at the fast Northern Irish circuit to maintain his 100% record and bring his win tally for 2015 to four. Qualifying went well for the Nissan Generation Next ambassador as he finished up fastest Supercar driver on a grid which would also contain the Kirkistown Saloon & GT challenge. Doyle made a good getaway from the lights and led for the entire race to make it three wins from three starts, ahead of Bob Cameron.

Race two followed much the same pattern as Doyle once again dominate first position from lights to flag, this time from Peter Barrable. In the early laps Sean got involved in a battle for the overall lead with the faster GT car of James Turkington but in the latter stages of the race settled for second to take the much more important class win in the ASK Supercar division.

Following two events Doyle holds a clear lead in the championship and is looking forward to continuing his domination at the next event, a non-championship encounter at Bishopscourt, again in Co. Down, in two weeks time. The championship returns to more familiar ground at Mondello Park for two more points scoring races in early June before heading on its eagerly awaited European adventure, to Zandvoort in Holland later that month.
