The Skoda Superb Combi was announced as the Fleet Car Estate of the Year at the recent Motorcheck.ie Fleet Car Awards 2013. Over two days, 27 shortlisted cars from 7 categories were assessed by an expert adjudication panel. Marks were awarded for the car’s styling, quality, engine and driving performance, equipment levels, safety, residuals and running costs. ŠKODA aims to sell 5,000 cars in 2013 with the Superb model range expected to account for 19% of this. Commenting on the award, Robert Guy, Head of Sales, Skoda said, “We are delighted that the ŠKODA Superb has been recognised this year, as the estate car of choice within the fleet sector. The Superb Combi is one of the roomiest cars in this segment combining class-leading rear seat leg room with 633-litres of luggage space, expanding to 1,865-litres with the seats folded”.
