SsangYong Motors Ireland are delighted to announce that they are celebrating their 3rd anniversary as the Irish distributor for the Korean Manufacturer. Joe Harris, Managing Director of SsangYong Motors Ireland, sees a bright future for this third year of existence:
“We have high hopes for the Tivoli and for the new Tivoli XLV, coming later this year”.
The good news is that there will be another new model (that shares the same platform with the Tivoli) which will be launched at the Geneva Motor Show in March. The launch of Tivoli XLV in Ireland is planned for June 2016. With great fuel economy and a combined cycle CO2 of 117g/km (on the manual diesel 2WD with stop-start) the price will be around €23,000 for the entry level diesel. It comes with the SsangYong 5 Year Roadside Assistance and 5 Year Unlimited Warranty. Joe Harris explains:
“It’s a heavier and bigger car than the Tivoli, with a boot space of 574 litres (Tivoli has 423 litres) and it’s going to be competing within the C-Segment Crossover space”, alongside the Korando. The rest of SsangYong’s range – Rexton, Korando and Rodius – will have an updated Euro 6 diesel engines and some specification upgrades during 2016.
