Volkswagen Touareg Unveiled At Beijing Show

Volkswagen is holding the world premiere of their all-new Touareg at the Beijing Motor Show. The new Touareg features revised front and rear styling, with Bi-xenon headlights now standard on all versions. Also standard for all V6 TDI models is Volkswagen’s automatic post-collision braking system, which is designed to avoid secondary collisions. The interior features new leather colours and buttons/controls, there are also new exterior colours and new wheel styles, now up to 21”. Customers can also specify the new R-Line packages which enhance the Touareg’s appearance with R-Line bumpers, gloss black air inlets, side sill extensions and a rear spoiler.

 

There is a choice of three TDI diesel engines and one Hybrid model to choose from. The diesel engine line-up has a 204hp, 258hp and a 340hp variant, the Hybrid model produces a combined output of 380hp. The new Volkswagen Touareg will go on sale this summer.
